Welcome to the 7th Elland Scout Group Policies Page. We are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment for all our young people and adult volunteers. These policies are in place to ensure we operate to the highest standards and in accordance with The Scout Association’s guidelines.

Group Policies

As a Group, the Trustee Board have developed and implemented a range of policies and guidelines to help govern our operations at a local level. These policies ensure that we promote best practice, uphold the values of Scouting, remain compliant with all applicable regulatory obligations and provide clear guidance to all members within the Group. UK Scouts Policies

The Group is a member of The Scout Association in the United Kingdom and, as such, follows its national governance framework set out in Policy, Organisation and Rules (POR). All policies outlined in this document are requirements mandated by The Scout Association and take precedence over any locally developed guidelines or procedures.

For convenience, a copies of the important policies are reproduced below. Any future updates made at a national level will be considered to take effect immediately; however, these documents may not be amended to reflect such changes until they have undergone our policy review process by the Trustee Board.
